    It turns out you unfortunately can have too much of a good thing! As tempting as it can be to slough off your wintery skin, be warned that dry, irritated, and peeling skin can also be signs of over-exfoliation. Just like anything in skincare, or life TBH, exfoliating should be done in moderation, ideally 1-2 times a week.

    A hot steamy shower (or bath) during the wintery months is a love language on its own (hello… it's me!). And although it might feel good at the time, it can lead to excessively dry skin.
