Absolutely! Skinned proudly calls Australia home. Our entire range is meticulously formulated and crafted in-house by our powerhouse team.

Our warehouse in based on the Sunshine Coast in sunny Queensland, Australia.

We do not offer order pickups from our warehouse at this stage- sorry!

They sure are! Skinned is formulated from start to finish in house in its entirety by us- right here in Queensland!

This means we're fully engaged in every detail, including adding those special touches like flowers, crystals, and shimmers. The entire journey of crafting, pouring, capping, and packaging our oils happens in-house. We're all about keeping it local and hands-on – no outsourcing involved!

While body lotions and creams do a great job at hydrating and nourishing, oils offer that extra boost of moisture your skin craves. We understand they might seem a bit intimidating – concerns about messiness or breakouts are common. But trust us, once you make the switch and incorporate oils into your beauty routine, you won't look back. Your skin will thank you!

Facial serums are one of *those* things that everyone pretends to know what it is. Serums are designed to deliver high concentrations of specific ingredients to the skin. Most often, serums are gel or oil based, and tend to be less thick than that of a standard moisturiser.

They are typically applied prior to moisturisers or can replace moisturisers altogether due to the concentrated nature of hydrating and nourishing ingredients.

Our little but fierce holy-grail serums are one of those products that you-didn’t-know-you-need-til-you-tried-it. Promise, you will be hooked!

A patch test is a simple way of checking whether your skin will react to new products. The reason you should patch test a product before you use it is to ensure your skin compatibility prior to regular use. To complete a patch test, please follow the steps below:

1. Choose an area of skin such as inside your elbow or behind your knee.
2. Cleanse this area of skin and ensure that it is dry.
3. Apply a small amount of your Skinned product.
4. If that application produces no reaction within 24 hours, it is time to assess how the product will perform on your face. The skin on your face is usually more sensitive that the rest of your body which is why it is extremely important to follow through with the second patch test.

If you do not encounter any signs of irritation or redness, but you are still unsure, please discuss this your GP.

You absolutely can! All of our body oils and facial serums are jam packed with super nourishing ingredients for all skin types- especially sensitive skin.

As with ANY cosmetic product, we always recommend doing a patch test prior to use to ensure your skin compatibility.

All of Skinned Body Oils are rich in ingredients that are fantastic for anti-aging.

If you are looking for something a little more nourishing and specialised, we recommend using Retrograde Facial Serum. Specifically designed for all skin types - especially dehydrated skin and skin showing signs of ageing, it features a light and non-greasy texture enriched with Hyaluronic Acid.

Follow through with Bang Bang Boogie Facial Serum as this serum contains a higher concentration of nourishing oils that have been specifically blended for quick absorption. It is suitable for use on face, body and problem prone areas including skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rosacea etc.

Skinned products are safe for pregnant and nursing women to use. They don’t contain any nasty ingredients that could harm you or your little one.

All Skinned Body Oils contain a blend of Apricot Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil, Macadamia Oil and Vitamin E. These powerhouse oils all help to promote collagen production and leaves skin nourished and smooth as it stretches during pregnancy. This helps to reduce the appearance of stretchmarks and soothe itchy and inflamed skin.

NO WAY! Skinned does not endorse or support any form of animal testing. None of the ingredients used to formulate our products are tested on animals, nor are any of the ingredients animal derived. This will never change and has always been at the forefront of our business model.

All Skinned products are vegan and cruelty free.

No- Skinned products DO NOT contain palm oil.

Palm oil grows in tropical rainforests, and the uncontrolled clearing of these forests for conventional palm oil plantations has led to widespread loss of these irreplaceable and biodiverse-rich forests. Plantations have also been connected to the destruction of habitat of endangered species, including orangutans, tigers, elephants, and rhinos.

To dispose of your empty Skinned packaging, please follow the guideline below:
TRASH: Label and cap.
RECYCLE: Glass dropper and bottle.

Ensure your Skinned products are stored correctly by storing in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and use within 6 months of opening.

This ingredients glossary has been listed in an A-Z format. Ingredients for Skinned products can be found on each individual product under the ‘Ingredients’ tab.

⦁ Cocos Nucifera | Coconut Fruit Extract: A highly absorbent and nourishing extract. It is widely used in natural skin care and beauty products. Because it is a humectant, it has a great moisturizing effect and helps prevents water loss.

⦁ Crystal Quartz: Quartz is one of the most common minerals in the Earth's crust. It is made by good ol' Mother Nature.

⦁ Florals: We source a wide range of florals for our Body Oils. Each individual Skinned product will list the florals in the ‘Ingredients’ tab. Unfortunately, due to seasonal variations, our florals can vary in size and colour. Lucky for you, this does not affect the quality of Skinned Body Oils.

⦁ Fragrance: Our fragrances are Australian made and are a blend of natural AND synthetic ingredients. The natural components are blended from plants and/or flowers (essential oils) and the synthetic components are manufactured from man-made materials.

All of our fragrances are safe for use on the body and generally only take up approximately 1-2% of our finished formulation. Please note that we do not disclose how we formulate our fragrances as they are proprietary to Skinned Pty Ltd.

⦁ Glycyrrhiza Glabra | Licorice Root Extract: Offers anti-inflammatory benefits and may help control oil production in the skin. Targeted to skin types looking to lighten skin pigmentation, soothe sensitive skin, diminish the appearance of dark under-eye circles, discolouration, and age spots.

⦁ Hyaluronic Acid (Vegan): Helps reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles whilst retaining moisture to the skin, ultimately creating a plumping effect. When the skin is protected and hydrated, increased skin cell production takes place, as the skin isn't busy fighting for hydration. This leads to smoother, plumper skin cells.

PLEASE NOTE: There are two main sources of Hyaluronic Acid. The first being animal extracted (from Rooster Combs typically) and the second being bacterial fermentation. Our material is from bacterial fermentation using glucose that is corn derived to create the hyaluronic acid in a bio fermentation process.

⦁ L-Ascorbic Acid | Vitamin C: Vitamin C is legendary for a reason; it is a science-backed, dermatologist-favourite ingredient that may help slow premature aging, prevent sun damage, and improve the appearance of wrinkles, dark spots, acne, and general dullness.

⦁ Leuconostoc Ferment Filtrate | Radish Root: Leuconostoc Ferment Filtrate is derived from Radish Root. This natural preservative also helps with skin hydration.

⦁ Lactobacillus Ferment (Radish Root): A probiotic for your skin! Helps calm and comfort skin to instantly relieve the dry, tight, bothered sensations that come with irritation.

⦁ Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil | Macadamia Oil: Macadamias are not only delicious to eat, but our skin happily soaks up the beneficial properties of this oil! Naturally hypoallergenic, macadamia oil is rich in naturally occurring vitamin E and is fantastic for dry and mature skins.

⦁ Mica: The biggest benefit of mica is its ability to create a natural shimmery finish. Because it is naturally produced, it is a particularly well-loved ingredient and is safe to use on almost all skin types. We source our mica from a reputable Australian company, and it is NOT tested on animals.

⦁ Niacinamide | Vitamin B3: Suitable for all skin types, Niacinamide is a powerhouse ingredient for brightening and hydration. It balances oil flow, reduces redness, decreases pigmentation, and evens skin tone and colour.

⦁ Panthenol | Vitamin B5: Vitamin B5 helps to keep skin soft, smooth, and healthy. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect that can help stimulate your skin's healing processes. Deeply hydrating, it helps to keep skin quenched by binding and holding water in the skin, moisturising and leaving it soft, smooth, and more supple.

⦁ Persea Gratissima Oil | Avocado Oil: Rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents, avocado oil helps skin to stay smooth, strong, and improves elasticity and skin tone.

⦁ Populus Tremuloides | Aspen Bark: The main use of aspen bark extract in skin care is as a natural preservative. It is an excellent alternative to parabens, and it protects your product from contamination.

⦁ Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil | Apricot Kernel Oil: This oil is mild enough that you can use it daily. Rich in both vitamins A & E, it is non-irritant and soothing. Suited to all skin types including sensitive skin. Dry AF skin? Apricot oil. Feeling like you’ve got more wrinkles than a shar pei? Apricot oil. Bad credit? Apricot oil. BF acting up? Apricot oil. It's that good.

⦁ Purified Water: Dehydration and low water intake causes the skin to look dull and tired. Purified water helps to boost H₂O levels in skin providing a radiant natural glow.

⦁ Rosa Canina Oil | Rosehip Oil: Let us start by saying it is not similar to your granny’s prized red roses. AT ALL. Rosehip Oil for the face is one of mother nature's best-kept secrets. It is high in fatty acids and vitamin A and C, which not only moisturise the skin, but also promote cell renewal and skin regeneration, therefore making it a miracle worker for skins prone to eczema, acne, scar treatment, dermatitis, stretch marks (seriously- trash that bio-oil!), nails prone to splitting and so much more.

⦁ Salix Alba | White Willow Bark: This hero ingredient is a natural salicin source, which is where the powerful acne-fighting ingredient that you're likely more familiar with, salicylic acid, comes from. It gently exfoliates, calms redness, reduces oiliness and signs of aging. Suitable for all skin types including sensitive!

⦁ Sclerotium Gum (Mushroom): Acts as a natural moisturizer and works to soften skin. it is a very versatile ingredient that improves the texture of cosmetic products. It is used as a thickening agent.

⦁ Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil | Jojoba Oil: Contains a balance of vitamins A, D and E which all promote skin healing. a versatile and gentle oil that is naturally antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and hypoallergenic.

⦁ Tocopherol | Vitamin E: Full of antioxidants, this vitamin is busy fighting off the free radicals. That's fancy talk for 'it's great for anti-ageing.

⦁ Vegetable Collagen | Seaweed: Move over kale, seaweed is the new super green! Studies suggest seaweed can help prevent collagen degradation, improve elasticity, and boost hydration.

⦁ Vegetable Glycerine (Palm Free): Facilitates the skin's absorption of other beneficial active ingredients.

People throw A LOT of shade on anything 'man-made' so we want to clarify a few things regarding natural/essential oil vs fragrance oils.

⦁ Cost: Essential oils are hands down the ingredient of choice when developing a 100% natural fragrance... but this comes with a price tag and becomes a very expensive task at hand.

⦁ Availability: Essential oils are extracted from plant sources right? So, when these plant sources are susceptible to ever-changing climate conditions, this means that they are not always readily available. And when they are, the prices skyrocket. Supply vs. Demand. You feel us?

⦁ Stability & Consistency: Essential oils come from many different sources and even countries! This means you are guaranteed to have varying compositions from batch to batch and can hinder our production rapidly.

⦁ Restrictive Creativity: The number of raw/natural materials available is limited compared to fragrance oils. This definitely restricts the variety of fragrances that we can create.

FYI: Essential Oils are called Essential Oils because they contain a raw essence- NOT because they are essential to our health and well-being.

Have you ever found bubble wrap popping a bit less satisfying, especially knowing it contributes to around 14 million metric tonnes of plastic waste flooding into the ocean annually? In most cases, resolving this issue is quite straightforward. Begin by disassembling your dropper into three components:

• Rubber Bulb
• Aluminium Cap
• Glass Dropper/Pipette

Thoroughly wipe down all these parts with a paper towel, ensuring that the rubber bulb's interior is free from any oil. When reassembling, you'll feel the components click back into place, especially the glass dropper fitting into the rim of the rubber bulb. Often, the solution to a troublesome dropper is to remove excess oil from the rubber bulb and secure the glass dropper in its correct position.
